NEW CAMO 12′ ADVENTURER MODEL now Includes a rear door. The doors are also a new shape (see photo’s and explanation further down page). The canvas also has an additional wax coating on the underside of the canvas. This gives the canvas the strength of 17oz canvas without the weight, and makes it extremely waterproof. We decided to add this coating as many Adventurer tents are used every day of the year by safari type companies and as permanent accommodation, and often in the north of Australia during the wet season. This additional coating in combination with one of our storm covers makes the Adventurer tent possibly the most tear resistant and waterproof tent on the market today.

After many months of researching camouflage designs and colours, and then testing these with the various types of Australian bush we have produced the worlds first camouflage tent (Woodland design/Rip stop canvas) which blends in with different natural bush found throughout Australia (and that was the easy part).There are two processes to manufacture conventional tents, to manufacture the Camo tent took five processes.One of the main ones being to print the camo design before adding waterproofing agents, mildew and UV treatments. This tent is exactly the same in features, sizes and physical shape as our “Adventurer tent” (green and beige) with small changes to blend in with the camouflage such as the guy ropes are dark green and all canvas bags for poles, ladder, guy ropes and pegs are also camouflage canvas.

Very manageable weight, breathes well, the most popular weight amongst, Australian Campers.

Internal Floors are washable, durable PVC (500q/sqm) sewn in, rising 15cms up the inside of walls.PVC also seen around the mattress area.
Very Strong, stretches rather than tears. PVC sewn in 15cms up the side of the walls to keep the bottom of tent walls dry when raining or dew of the grass.

Windows very fine strengthened M3 Midge/micro mesh, (not mosquito mesh) with clear PVC to exposed windows in main tent.

Utilizing midge/micro mesh keeps out all small insects such as sand flies and midges. Vital in coastal areas or in typical Australian bush.
Window coverings can be rolled up half way and secured with toggle tie backs over clear PVC windows to allow in light in adverse conditions.

Doors (X3) are all zipped canvas, (2 zips per door),and all have double zipped midge/micro mesh doors behind them.

Doors can be zipped from bottom to top which can stop small children from going inside or outside. Canvas doors can be left open without concern for insects getting into the tent, and allows airflow. There are 3 doors in total including a rear door. We have included this new feature to allow plenty of airflow into the tent and also ideal to access a pop up toilet/shower if placed at the rear of the tent.

Exterior Window Covers (canvas) including zips and velcro and can all be rolled up and held in place with Toggles, and placed under sewn in valance.
Window coverings are protected and held in place. The valance also deflects rain away from windows.

Internal Window covers (canvas) including zips and velcro and can be rolled down and toggled back.

No need to go outside to close the windows if cold or raining.

Eyelets to all window coverings with a bonus 6 poles, guy ropes and pegs provided.

All window coverings can be turned into additional awnings.

Two Zipped PVC Vents below main bed area with zipped midge mesh behind them (Unique to, Austrack Camper Tents).

When unzipped allows airflow into the main tent. Both PVC and midge mesh can be unzipped to also allow access to water containers, Jerry Cans, etc, on the tent side of the trailer.

Annex Floor (removable) very strong PVC with Velcro sewn in to attach to annex walls and tent.
Easily cleaned, and very durable. Velcro can be attached to tent and annex walls to fully enclose the tent, (keeps out insects etc) .

Annex Walls (Interchangeable and canvas) are 3 piece (zipped), including windows and entrance doors, and attaches to annex roof and floor with very strong Velcro.

You can have either 1, 2, or 3,sections (walls) in place. Can act as wind break, sun shield , or privacy screen with just one side wall in place, but allows plenty of air flow if hot.

Annex Walls (Interchangable and midge/micro mesh) complete with 3 zips one in each side, with one in the middle and can be tied back. They also have a zip in each corner to allow to be interchanged with the canvas annex. There is also Velcro sewn in to the inside edges of the walls to attach to the annex roof and annex floor.

This second set of annex walls (retails $499) is perfect when more airflow is needed such as hot summer days or when flying little biters around.

Annex Roof is attached with a quality zip and velcro.
Can be removed for quick stopover’s.

Bed Base Board is 18mm 12 layered marine ply board with two inspection hatches.
You can access goods in trailer through two hatches under the mattress.

Steel Bed Board Support Frame is custom made with extra reinforcing.
The bed frame has been custom made to sit exactly on the lip of a 7 x 4 trailer whether 40mm or 50mm wide lip. No need to add infills.

Privacy Screen (canvas) to main bed.

Can be rolled up or zipped closed depending whether privacy required.

King Size Bed Mattress.
100mm (extra thick) high density foam for a good nights sleep, with zip off cover for washing.

Aluminium strengthened Ladders.

High quality ladders which slot under bed and secured by canvas straps. The ladders do not get in the way whilst sleeping, and are much safer than heavy steel if they happen to fall to the floor, particularly if small children are around. Supplied with zipped canvas bag.

Tent Poles (exterior) are Heavy Duty 25mm hot galvanized.
Poles are hot galvanized instead of the standard cold galvanised for additional strength and protection from the
elements to avoid rusting. All supplied in a canvas bag.

Tent Poles (internal) are heavy duty 25mm hot galvanized spring loaded pivot poles, and lock tight adjustable poles.
As above plus spring loaded pivot poles to assist in quick set up of tent .

Spreader Bars are Heavy Duty 25mm hot galvanised.

Spreader bars used for additional support and tensioning of annex roof and tent particularly useful in very heavy storms or winds if unavoidable.

Guy Ropes, Pegs and Rain Caps

A total of 56 pegs, 26 guy ropes, and 6 rain caps (slide over tops of front exterior annex poles to stop rain coming through eyelets, and also protects canvas when guy ropes attached). Many extra supplied in case of loss or damage.

Full Dust Cover provided.

One of two covers provided to protect the canvas when placing items on top of the tent underneath the exterior travel cover.

Exterior Travel Cover 500g/sqm very heavy duty PVC, including zips and Velcro.

There is a zip located 15cms from the bottom of the cover, you simply unzip the top of the cover off, set up your tent and zip back up again when the tent is folded away. The bottom of the cover is attached to the bed board with aluminium sail track/annex rail (screwed to the bed base board).As the base of the cover is tightly fitted into the sail track it provides a total dust and water seal giving the tent total protection from the elements. The cover is also manufactured oversize to allow for the safe and sealed storage of clothes, sleeping bags, chairs etc underneath it. All too often tents are ruined by water and dust getting up underneath the cover, and the tent is left to rot in storage till the next camping adventure. We believe this is one of the most crucial points to ensure longevity of a camper tent. The cover also includes 6 tie down straps, with sewn in strengthened buckles.

Custom Storm Cover / roof protector covers the complete roof area of both the tent and annex roof, and comes complete with 12 steel buckles (“D”rings) sewn in for guy roping down. It is made from oxford polyester 210D which is top quality, and is used in the manufacture of roof top tents.

The cover enables you to camp under trees without worrying about sap or bird droppings etc, which ultimately may ruin the canvas. the cover can cool down the tent by up to 5 degrees, and will also allow you to be out in a storm. An inexpensive means of protecting your investment. This cover will also fit most similar sized tents on the market, or can be adapted to fit any tents (size 5.5m x 5.00m). Retails $299 or $99 with any purchase of an Austrack tent.
